Ghost Revisited by Lou Majaw

“If life becomes too real, take a little time to dream.” So says Lou Majaw, the veteran musician from Shillong whose contributions to the music scene in the north-east have inspired generations of musicians, and whose pioneering efforts in organizing the annual Bob Dylan Jayanthi have resulted in the huge success that it is today, thirty-five years after it was established.


Majaw still plays to packed audiences in various cities in the north, and is one of the most respected musicians in India today. Music columnist D’Com examines the veteran musician’s life and work.
